Our Origin

From One Van to
Fifty Professionals

Sparkle & Shine was founded in 2010 by Maria & James Torres, a husband-and-wife duo who had moved to Los Angeles with little more than a work ethic and a dream. Maria had spent years cleaning homes to support the family while James worked nights. Together, they saw a gap — the city was full of busy families who needed reliable, trustworthy cleaners but had no way to find them.

They started with one secondhand van, a small kit of eco-friendly products, and a commitment to show up on time, every time. Word spread quickly. Within two years, they'd hired their first team members. Today, Sparkle & Shine employs over 50 vetted professionals and serves thousands of homes and offices across the greater Los Angeles area.
